Email policy

Abalaris Business Ventures (AbalVentures.com) advises owners of privately held companies in Florida and Georgia on valuation, timing and the sale of their business. We introduce ourselves to business owners by email, one owner at a time, under the following rules.

Who we write to. Owners and principals of operating businesses, identified individually from business directories and professional data providers and checked before any message is sent. We do not send to consumer mailing lists, and we do not send to anyone who has told us not to.

How we write. A short, individually addressed introduction, signed by Georg von Greiff, President, with our name, postal address and telephone number in every message. No attachments, no tracking pixels, no tracked links. Three messages at most over about two weeks; if there is no reply, we stop.

Opting out. Every message carries a one-click unsubscribe (the List-Unsubscribe header and a link). An opt-out is honoured at once, across all of our domains, and is never re-approached. A reply of "please remove me" is treated the same way. An address that bounces is removed the same day.

Our domains. We send only from domains we own and operate for this correspondence: abalaris.com, abalventures.com, abalarisventures.com, abalarisventure.com and abalventuresma.com. All of them publish SPF, DKIM and DMARC. We do not send from any other domain and we do not allow anyone else to send on our behalf.

Unsolicited advertising. We do not send bulk unsolicited advertising, and we do not allow our domains to be used for it. If you receive a message from one of our domains that breaks the rules above, forward it with its full headers to
abuse@abalaris.com and it will be investigated within one business day.
